A Few Words

Each of us are shaped by the words we hear.

These words come from a multitude of sources. Words spoken in a conversation with a friend. Words read in a book or blog. Words sung in a favorite song. Words preached from a pulpit or taught in a classroom. We take these words, process them, synthesize them, and use them to form the way we view the world. Life truly is a conversation, and each of us navigates life best when we listen to each other and learn from one another. We need dialogue with each other to better understand God, relationships, work, and all of the other elements that make up one’s experience.

The few words of this blog are my small offering toward that conversation. My hope is that my scattered thoughts here lead to further dialogue, so that I can learn and grow from the words I hear from you. Most of what you’ll find here will relate in some way with what I am learning about God and what it means to be his follower, but there will also be a post here and there that touches on another topic or that is simply something I find humorous. You’ll also find an occasional post written by someone else whose words I value.

So thanks for checking out “A Few Words.” Feel free to subscribe, leave comments, and share the site with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, paperboys, and archenemies.

Welcome to the conversation.
